Diametric Achieves JLRQ Award

Diametric is delighted to announce that it has been awarded JLRQ status by Jaguar Land Rover (JLR). The award was presented on Wednesday 5th December at Diametric’s Head Office in Swanmore.

JLRQ status is the quality trust mark from JLR that shows Diametric’s commitment to quality and to continuous improvement within the company. After five years of hard work, this achievement means that Diametric is now a JLR accredited supplier.

Diametric’s journey towards achieving this status began in 2013 when Quality Manager , Dean Hoskins, identified it as an opportunity for Diametric to position itself as a brand that puts quality at the forefront of its mission.

JLRQ status requires a commitment to quality and performance throughout the business. Part of the JLRQ process is demonstrating the supplier’s capable systems through third party accreditations. This involved achieving the automotive quality management standard ISO/TS 16949 (now IATF 16949) in November 2014 and the environmental management standard ISO 14001 in August 2016.

In February 2018 Diametric were finally in the position to apply for JLRQ status and in October the team at Diametric were delighted to hear that they had been granted the award.

Dean Hoskins, Quality Manager at Diametric, said: “It has been a long journey since we made the decision in 2013 to put in place the systems to give us the opportunity to achieve JLRQ status. We had so many milestones to reach before we could even apply for the accreditation, so it’s an incredible achievement for Diametric and reflects our dedication to customer service and quality of our products.”
